For some patients, paying for their dental treatment can be stressful or even cause anxiety. We believe that finances should never dictate the level of care that you receive, which is why at Hartrick Dentistry, we offer a variety of payment options that fit every budget.
If you have dental insurance, we will make every effort to obtain the most accurate and up-to-date information on your coverage. Because our first concern is your well-being, we do not recommend treatment based on insurance coverage, nor are our fees determined by your insurance carrier. We are considered out of network with all insurance policies.
You are responsible for any portion of the bill not covered by your insurance, so please be prepared to pay estimated co-payments at the time of service. Due to the nature of insurance contracts, we may not know what your exact final costs will be until we receive actual payment from your insurance company. If your insurance pays less than expected, we will bill you for the difference. If your insurance pays more than expected, we will refund you any overpayment.
Additionally, most dental insurance policies include limitations on certain procedures. These limitations are based solely on the financial aspect of your policy and should not be used to determine the care you choose to receive. If you would like to know exactly what your costs will be before proceeding with your dental care, we will be happy to submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance carrier for any treatment recommended.
While it can be frustrating if you expect insurance to cover the whole bill, the costs of dental care can be managed. Become familiar with your dental coverage, do some advance planning, and remember that your health is the most important thing. We are here to answer any questions you may have, and we have many years of experience dealing with dental insurance. Since we are not a party to your dental insurance contract, we do not have all the answers – but we will do our very best to help you get the most from your plan.
Before beginning a procedure, Dr. Hartrick will develop an individualized treatment plan that outlines the cost of procedures that are to be done. This way, each patient has a clear expectation of what his or her treatments will cost and can make necessary payment arrangements.
We offer several payment options to suit the needs of every patient.
- Option A: Pre-pay before your appointment and receive a 5% discount on the amount due for your treatment.
- Option B: In-office financing allows you to split your payments by paying part of the balance the day you receive treatment and the remaining balance within 30 days following your appointment.
For a balance of $1,000 or more, you can pay part of your balance when scheduling your treatment, part of the balance the day you receive treatment, and then the remaining portion is due within 30 days following your appointment.
- Option C: Special Financing – In the event that you need additional financial assistance in paying for your treatments, we also offer special financing through Care Credit and Lending Club. These third-party lenders offer low-monthly payments (if approved) for up to 84 months and no interest if the balance is paid in full within 6 or 12 months.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will file your dental claims for you, but please understand that filing a claim on your behalf is not a guarantee of payment. All balances incurred from services rendered by Hartrick Dentistry are solely the patient’s responsibility.
